Fantastic place to stay, friendly owners, amazing views, facilities were great and we loved seeing the animals. Have already recommended it to friends and family and we will return in the summer. The Oddfellows Arms was also a great pub nearby with excellent food.
Perfect spot on the edge of the Lakes National Par
A really lovely cabin in a great area. Owners stay out of your way and there's loads of space inside. The animals outside are super-friendly and a big hit with the kids. Only slight gripe is the beds are quite narrow and very squeaky! (Or at least ours was)
It is a genuinely lovely place to spend a break.
We had a fabulous time. Emily was so helpful - what a warm welcome we got on arrival, with some lovely touches of country life. Free range farm eggs available on request - they were delicious and a must!
Lodge was very clean and fresh. It was an idyllic setting to relax and also had lots of things to do with a short car drive away.
The hot tub and sauna were amazing too.
Lots of animals and wildlife to enjoy too - being out in the countryside was good for our souls.
Highly recommend a visit.
Enjoyed a few days at Greenview. Warm welcome complimentary local milk and freshly baked cake. Lodge spotless. Enjoyed freshly laid free range eggs at breakfast. There are donkeys, goats, sheep and chickens. Pet friendly and on site spa, with hot tube and sauna. A hidden gem, on our visit to the lakes.
We had the footage in our stay which fit four people but can honestly say green view lodges is an amazing place to stay! It's so family friendly, clean, cared for and just making sure you're being looked after and everything's okay. Everything was clear on our arrival and it was just cute and cosy wish we had longer 😊
We stayed in the hay loft cottage.
It was spotlessly clean, modernly decorated but has character with old exposed beams upstairs. Little personal touches like some home made cake and fresh milk in the fridge on arrival made our stay stand out from a b&b or hotel.
We enjoyed our little getaway weekend in the hayloft and would throughly recommend.
Lovely comfortable lodge with everything we needed. Emily and Gary were very helpful and had left us some beautiful homemade cake.
There was an accident on the motorway on our way there so we arrived late at night and I was worried we were going to miss check in time. However, I emailed and Emily responded straight away to say it wasn’t a problem. She left the Lodge open for us and turned on the lights so we could just get straight in and get the kids tucked up in bed.
The hot tub and sauna were a lovely bonus too which the kids really enjoyed.
We only stayed for the weekend but would come back again for longer next time.
