Perfect for an overnight stop along the Ceredigion Coast Path. The breakfast tray was very welcome as nothing was open for breakfast when I left (it was Sunday and I left at 8am as I was going all the way to Aberaeron). Also appreciated having a kettle in the room to make numerous cups of tea! Only minor issue was that I found the room cold, even with the heater on. And after a long day on the trail, I really wanted to be cosy and warm.

Great communication, easy self check in, clean spacious room with great sea view as described. Modern room with space utilised really well. Love the heated mirror in the bathroom! Comfortable bed and pillows (we snoozed our alarm!) Super soft towels. Tea and coffee great and nice touch with a bottle of cold water and Breakfast tray. 100% recommend and would definitely stay again!! Thank you!

Beautiful location. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and cosy. A few minutes walk from the beach, we also saw dolphins in the bay. The breakfast tray was delicious. We would definitely book again.

This is a fantsstic property. Plenty of communication before-hand. Music plays to welcome you (as it's a self-check in), the place is very clean and everything you need is included. It is a shame that no-one is there to provide breakfast & that you have a continental breakfast tray instead but we would certainly recommend The Highcliffe.

Fabulous 3 night stay

We loved our 3 night stay. The self check in was straight forward. Our room was spacious & clean, we had a sea view and there was plenty of parking. The breakfast tray was sufficient. A short stroll to the beach where there was a lovely cafe/bar, open limited days/times. A fish & chip shop and a great pub are also close by. You need to book if you want to enjoy a meal at the pub. The food there was lovely. We will definitely be back

this former hotel remains a quality place which we recommend . it does not serve any meals but we knew that before we went . simple solution take cornflakes or whatever you fancy for breakfast .! good location five minutes from the beach/ very good pub - we will be back

The room was clean , double bed was quite comfortable the single was not at standard,the continental breakfast we did not find suitable for us as we don't eat cake in the morning,and there was no fresh produce. Not for us.

Easy no frills check in. Haven’t seen any staff, we didn’t need them during our 2 night stay. Codes to access doors. Looks newly renovated. Room 7 on the 2nd floor has lovely view of the sea. Looks very clean and tidy but may need closer attention behind bedside lamps when cleaning as cobwebs seen. Has clothes cupboard meant for children, adult hangers cant fit in it. Lacking hooks to hang your jackets/ coats. No hooks in the bathroom to hang your robe. Biggest issue is that you can hear your next door or below occupants’ conversations, and snoring at night. Overall it was ok but couldn’t have stayed any longer than 2 nights because of the sound issue.
