Stayed here Mon-Fri. My initial opinion of this place was very good. Staff were very friendly and appeared efficient. Check-in was easy. Rooms are very good with a ceiling fan and additional tower fan in the room which was helpful during the recent spell of hot weather. Breakfast was good. Couldn’t connect my laptop to their wifi so had to use mobile network. Food in the restaurant was good and delivered piping hot but service is slow and food is a bit pricey. Nevertheless I was very content with this place and thought I had found the ideal base to stay when I had meetings in Cardiff. Until the Tuesday lunchtime when I returned from a meeting in Cardiff to find the car park full due to what looked like a wedding reception. Nothing reserved for hotel guests which gives an idea of how much they value hotel guests. Probably make more money from a wedding reception. This sort of action does nothing but annoy me. As a result I won’t be staying here again.

What a beautiful place , Staff just amazing didn't have to ask for anything . breakfast cooked to perfection best quality of food it was delicious. parking large safe carpark , everything and much more and fabulous cake display i couldn't resist . We will be coming back.

A good location for exploring the area with easy parking. The room was OK for a night, but I would describe it as tired (e.g. carpet looking in need of a good clean or replacement, bed/mattress seen better days, and much dust inside the desk lamp). I cannot comment on the inclusive breakfast because it didn't start until 8 am and we needed to be away by 7:30.

We had a fabulous stay for our wedding anniversary. Lovely room, excellent jacuzzi bath, very clean and very comfortable. We have stayed 5 times over the last few years and the food and service was superb as always.
