The hotel was modern, clean and comfortable. Ultimately like any hotel it’s just a building; however, what sets this building apart is the staff. We stayed two nights and from the outset we were made to feel like old returning friends. Special mention goes to restaurant staff Nathan, Bessy and Coulay (I guarantee that I’ve misspelt that), also to night desk staff member Andrew. If I have need of a hotel in Newport again I can’t imagine choosing anywhere else. Great service.

What a pleasant surprise! Lovely hotel situated in the old Newport HM Passport Office. Much better than places like Holiday Inn and Coldra Court. If staying in Newport, I recommend! The town centre is a bit of a zoo at night, but there are some nice places to eat and drink like Newport Market.
