We always enjoy staying here. There were weddings taking place this weekend so it was busy and there was a delay on food in the evening and for breakfast, but we didn’t mind this and when it arrived it was hot and tasty. As usual the lounge music was just up our street and very relaxing. All staff also very professional and polite.

Lovely hotel is a beautiful and peaceful setting above the South Wales valleys. Rooms are spacious and wonderful outside spaces and views. Food and drinks were good although we only had drinks and breakfast here. Would visit again and some of the events spaces looked excellent for conferences and celebrations.

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Large room with comfortable bed. En-suite included bath (preferred by wife), while the shower, above the bath, worked pretty well. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good full Welsh breakfast, lighter options also available. Good varied dinner menu (we ate there three times). The dog was made as welcome as we were, and we hope to return.

The staff at this hotel are way above what you normally encounter. What an absolute delight. Whoever trains their people deserves a star as consistently high standards are notoriously hard to achieve. I also like the location which is lovely and tranquil with pretty great views. The food and drink choice should also be commended. I stay daily regularly around the area for work and now I’ve found this gem, will definitely stay again.
