“From the start Ryan was very friendly at check-in Offered a great place to eat. The room was very clean and comfortable and the view from the floor to ceiling windows was so beautiful. You could almost see the entire 40 miles of Moose Head Lake. the continental breakfast was a little light, but all food was fresh. I would recommend this lodge to anyone seeking a fantastic view and friendly staff. ”

“My ONLY negative comment was the confusion (and I was not the only guest) with the unattended check in. Main house had a note saying "remote check in"...there was nobody onsite to guide uou on what/where/how. “The hostel is in a cute old house with nice decor. We particularly enjoyed the pool table and darts to spend the evening. Breakfast had all the options you would want, better than most continental breakfasts. On the downsides, there was a double booking so we ended up in a shared bathroom room. And the windows don't open so it got stuffy (there is AC though)”

“Beautiful spot within view of the fork in the river with the gentle sound of moving water. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxed stay including an outdoor grill and fire pit. If you don’t feel like cooking, The Inn if the River is a quick walk just across the street and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will stay here again when we return to the area. ”
