Vacations Close To Captain Timothy Hill House

This place was very welcoming to our family. Terrific staff. This was our first time in the OBX area, and they were able to recommend places to eat and were very accomodating to our family. Friendly staff. Clean room. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much!!!!

Very charming place we will stay again.

The hotel was under construction and we were not notified of this before making our reservation. The entire hotel was filthy -- our room in particular was a mess. The floors had a wet surface the entire time we were there -- it was like a "sweat" on the floors and the walls and bedding. When we attempted to wipe up the sweat off of the floors, the towels were filthy after soaking up the moisture!! We went to the front desk to complain or to request another room & the women at the desk were extremely rude & told us they didn't have another room; when we asked why our room was "wet" they shrugged and acted like we were complaining about nothing -- saying "Okay" "Okay" when we told them how disgusting it was. There only suggestion was for us to turn the air conditioning unit down below 70 Degrees!!! Which by the way, is FREEZING cold... they expected us to keep it at that temperature day and night.

The hotel was clean the staff was pleasant professional easy to talk with I enjoyed my stay at hotel manio. I will stay there again.

This place is properly named. We have stayed here a few years ago and often reminisce about the scenery and peacefullness. We like to walk and with the newest boardwalk extensions all that came to fruition. Location and scenic value is a DREAM!

Owner was very responsive and answered all of my questions. We made a very last minute trip with our three babies and dogs and this suite was perfect! Beautiful balcony with tons of space and the pool on property was such a bonus will be back!!
