Very Good

The view is simply amazing. The staff led by Eva and Giuseppe were beyond helpful, before, during, and after our stay. They recommended wonderful adventures and dining experiences. It is, however, a climb to get to and from the property, but the view makes it worthwhile.
This place was amazing. The staff were very nice and very helpful. The outdoor pool was nice, the view on the terrace was amazing. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, pastries, cake, pies, meats, and cheeses. The only downside is that it is a pretty vertical 15 minute walk to get too. Worth it for the view, but tiring.
The view is gorgeous but the half mile trek uphill was undersold. They warn you that it’s a little trek but it is a steep incline )17-18 flights) to the center of town. We ate at the hotel restaurant one evening due to the distance back/forth and got food poisoning from the seafood. Two days of our trip was spent stuck in the room. The charge to transport your luggage is ridiculous but necessary with the hotel being so far. Concierge did give good advice on ferry tickets.
Beautiful location! Stunning views. Staff were very accommodating from the beginning with finding them and understanding as it goes in Capri with the stairs and climbing that is inevitable. Rooms were clean and pool was nice.
Beautiful 5-STAR Property in an outstanding neighbourhood with an impeccable view.
The staff is friendly and has exceptional customer satisfaction.
Especially, Eva .
This hotel was absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views and a peaceful, serene atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the pool area was a true oasis—surrounded by lush trees and flowers, with only the soothing sound of cicadas. The walk to the hotel is quite steep, but well worth it for the experience. Plus, there’s a luggage transport service available for a fee.

Very kind staff ! Great accomodations . Very quiet area. Be prepared for lots of steps and walking. This is not centrally located but you can pay a porter to bring bags to and from port for a fee. They do help with bags once you get to hotel . Not very crowded but breakfast is good
Beautiful property. We had so much fun. Every member of the staff is so sweet. The views of the sea from the pool, dining patios, and rooms are unbelievable. The staff go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable. Top notch! Will be back!!!
Can't say enough about this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful and spoke great English. Our room was spotless with a modern design, and our view from the balcony was stunning - one of the best views of Capri. It is a hike from the road to the hotel, as noted on the website. We managed to roll our suitcases up the switchbacks, but the hotel will arrange for someone to pick then up for you if you give them notice, which would be much easier! It's a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel to the city center, depending on how busy the roads are. We appreciated being away from the hustle and bustle and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Would definitely stay again!
This place is a true, surrounded by greenery and cobblestone that brought back my best childhood summers. I cannot begin to explain the genuine care and kindness we received from the staff and even the other guests staying. My husband was having issue with the hills and walkway way up the GARDENER brought our luggage up. Its clear community here is important to them and working as a team. The staff also offered us a less glamorous route to a main road 15 minutes from the square and we were so grateful. Villa Lia was everything we dreamed & more, we plan on making this place our frequent stay.
The property is new with what it means in good and bad things, they are still trying to fix all possible issues.
Internet NOT working during our full stay, telephone and TV too. Plumping issues during the first 2 days but they are working to fix them… Pool half empty, honestly cannot understand why…
The staff is kind and doing their best they can to “save” the day. I am sure they are living a nightmare with the complaints of the hotel guests.
What it is terrible and cannot be fixed is the hotel location. You literally need a 10 minute steep hill walk to reach the hotel and this is on top of the another 15-20 minutes walk from Capri center. There are no words to describe how IMPOSSIBLE to live with is this location, irrespective and irrelevant how fit you are.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Room itself was modern, very clean and nice. Some staff very helpful. However pool was dirty, unclean and had hose in even though it wasn’t being drained or filled. Was dirty for our 3 days.
Apart from the hotel rooms and the terrace, everything seems unfinished.
Running water is very poor. Flush the toilet and have to wait an hour for it to be able to flush again.
On one of the days we had no water. We had to go out unshowered for the day. Spoke to staff who said something would be done, then waited 40 minutes. Nothing was done so had to go back down and ask staff again. Maintenance came up and looked at the room. It was said the water was fixed, even though it wasn’t. So we had to leave for the day unwashed. When we came back at 6:30pm it was working again.
Our electric also kept knocking off and on. Which was very annoying.
Hotel is very high up in Capri. So be warned. But it does give beautiful views when you finally reach it.
Despite the room being decorated nicely and some nice staff members, we wouldn’t be able to recommend this hotel or stay here again

30 ramps and many stairs to get from the gate to the reception. It's a vertical climb that destroys your will to visit the island or simple get out to have a dinner. Plan your day, get out and once you get back you have to stay there. But there is nothing to do in the hotel since the pool is also on the top of a vertical climb, has no services and is poorly maintained.
It’s was a beautiful hotel and an amazing. The room was clean and the staff were helpful. The view was amazing but there wasn’t much options for the food at the restaurant or breakfast. There is quite a lot of stairs leading up to the hotel and it would have been nice to be informed about them beforehand. They organised a boat tour of the island for us which was good.
This breakfast was the BEST of our 2 week trip. The view is worth the walk - if you are fit. I enjoyed it. The internet didn't work and they had to keep resetting the router, and it would still shut off - so no wifi, and no TV. But the staff were very accommodating.
Amazing Location and view. But a tough walk to the hotel. It’s up a lot of stairs, they brought the bags up from the path, but if you have any issues with knees, hips, lungs you won’t make it to the hotel. I have been in Capri three times and this was by far the most incredible view. Top notch h restaurant, amazing pool. But you need to be in shape to get there. Also don’t plan to dash back to hotel to grab something you forgot, plan to leave and come only once a day. Also call ahead so they meet you to bring up bags from road. 38 flight of winding stone steps. Definitely a memory but like I said be in shape.
This property was by far the highlight of our trip. The staff was amazing, the views were unparalleled and the food was phenomenal. The only criticism I have is it could be better marked. We did not want to leave. This hotel is a gem.
