If there was a higher score than excellent, Casa Augusto would have been given it as it far exceeded our expectations. First, when arriving to the property, the grounds were even more stunning than the pictures showed. It was like an oasis with stunning flowers throughout and the lemon tree was amazing!! We were greeted by Augusto who couldn’t have been any more helpful. His attentiveness continued throughout our 3 day stay. The rooms were amazing with beautiful decor, very spacious and impeccably clean. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING!!! Generous breakfast with eggs, meat/cheeses, fresh fruits, muffins, croissants, crisp rolls, yogurt, juice, extra large Cappuccinos and all the fixings. Food and drinks were fresh and delicious! Room had a nice patio with a beautiful view. Breakfast was served on our patio at our own individual table with tablecloth and beautiful dinnerware. We had not realized how close the beach was. Just outside the gate was the pathway down to the beach in under 10 minutes. The water was crystal clear with an aqua color. There were stunning rock formations that you could swim around and through if you chose to. The Capri center was around a 5- 7 minute walk. The location was perfect!!! Transportation around the island was so easy from this location. There were buses that ran every 15 minutes down to and back from the beach, or the Marina Center, or Ana Capri town while the main Capri town with shops, restaurants and gardens were just a short walk away!

We loved staying with Augusto he gave us the low down on all the sights and good eats on Caprì. The house is a short walk to marina piccola as well as to the bus stop on via Roma and the downtown area. The beds were comfortable and the setting is beautiful.

Amazing property! We absolutely loved staying at Casa Augusto. Clean, well kept property conveniently located within walking distance of Capri town and Marina Piccola. Hi Everyone! So. I have to say the hotel Casa Augusto is highly overrated here on Expedia. Let's start with the good stuff: The surrounding garden is really beautiful and although the outdoor shower is maintained poorly it was fun and nice to take a cooling shower after a day at the beach. The view from the garden onto the sea and the surroundings is also very beautiful and relaxing. The cleaning lady is super friendly and lovely. The family room on the ground level is good and practical, not perfect, but quite alright... infrastructure okay, the bath okay (and it has all you need), also nice that you get two separate sleeping areas. That is it. The closets smelled weird, like mould and everything, again, is not that well maintained. The breakfast, which is highlighted in most of the reviews is actually a catastrophe. Not that it does not taste well. It does. But is just sweets and desert. A lot of it (sugared yoghurts, only marmalade and Nutella, just two eggs for four heads and only sweet bread and vanilla pudding / Nutella filled croissants) and nothing else, except for the eggs, nothing savoury. Seemingly that is tradition, but come on... cultural differences aside and I get it, continental breakfasts are rare in that area, but that is not a breakfast, it is a desert platter. Only, when we bought savoury stuff from the grocery store (which is close luckily), they started serving some salami and some Italian cheese. Coffee refill is sporadic and they do not really ask.

Loved how close this property was to Capri town and a close walk to Marina Piccola. Very relaxing and peaceful garden area with a lovely breakfast served every morning by Augusto and his mom! Great place to stay while in Capri if you're looking for something more local vs a hotel.
