Stay was quiet and safe. In the morning, walked across the parking lot for breakfast. Snacks in the room were a nice, welcoming touch. Easy check in and out. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Super nice staff, excellent housekeeping. This historical hotel is old but so comfortable with great tv, coffee, fridge , micro, toiletries etc. This should be your definite “stay” place when in Capitan.

Quaint motel.

It is an older motel and quaint! It fit its name, Smokey Bear motel! The room and the beds were clean, had extra towels already in room, water in frig, snacks in a welcoming bowl, and a coffee pot! We were there for 2 nights for a family graduation!
