A great apartment in a great location. Super safe with lots of security at the front door and facial recognition to enter. The apartment was exactly as described and I got a personal check in and taken to the apartment. All cooking facilities were available and the added bonus of a washing machine. I was in town for the marathon so it was great to be able to wash my kit before heading home.

These are basically condos. Living room, full kitchen with oven/stove, full sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher and in suite laundry. Bedroom is separate from the living room. Bed was comfortable. The shower was very nice, plenty of hot water. Only drawback was at nights the motorcycles and cars with no/loud exhausts would race up and down the street. Even with windows closed, blinds drawn and earplugs in it was very difficult to sleep. Check in process was easy. Security was super tight. Facial recognition to get into the building and to leave.

The apartment was on the 19th floor. Great views of the city and waterfront. It was well equipped, spacious and clean. 4 lifts serviced all floors, never had to wait long. Kurdra the host was very helpful and always contactable. Water pressure to rain shower head was not quite up to what it needed to be but still adequate. Just don’t try and wash your hair if it’s long. Overall and wonderful stay.

This is one of my favourite apartment hotels ever in Cape Town. Great location, welcoming, kind and professional staff, stellar security and amenities. I truly felt at home and always safe. Location was really good and the apartment had everything you needed. I didnt get my room serviced while i was there evidently due to a misunderstanding. The bar in the complex is very poor but not the responsibility of the appartment owners. On the whole a great place to stay.

This was one of our favorite Hotels.com stays. The apartment was spotless & elegant and yet comfortable & cozy at the same time, with a fantastic view. Laz welcomed us warmly on arrival and ensured we knew how the building security worked, and offered tips for the local area. Will definitely keep it in mind for our next Cape Town visit!

We loved the friendly and personal check in with Laz. The apartment was spacious and small touches that made a helpful difference were having some dish soap and laundry soap available in the room and the binder with information about where to eat, how to get room service etc. The check in about how our stay was going via WhatsApp after a few days was also very thoughtful and appreciated. We would absolutely stay at Urban Elephant again!

Think of this as an apartment hotel and you'll have the idea. The unit was as pictured. The security process at the front made us feel very safe, but took a little time at check in. Some issues with a nearby tenant whose cannabis smell kept getting into our room somehow. Lots of closet space. Comfortable beds. A few odd things like no hand soap in the bathrooms.

We have just returned from the most amazing stay at Urban Elephant 16 on Bree. The apartment exceeded all expectations, more spacious than the photos inferred, fully equipped and located centrally. The staff were great, in particular Laz the Guest Relations Manager, he was available for any queries or booking enquiries we had, nothing was a problem, a truly conscientious person who generally cares about his job and the satisfaction of guests.

Great location downtown. Beautiful view! Very clean and comfortable for our family of four. Nice pool deck and bar. Very good security in the lobby. Fast elevator!
