The location of the property was great. Just a short and direct walk down to the beach. Proximity to restaurants, cafes and other places to eat was very convenient. The staff and food were excellent, they always went above and beyond to help with ideas of what to do. As a solo traveller this was very helpful. I can say enough about the breakfast and snacks provided each day, another thing that just made the day more easy. The house is older with character, creaks and you can hear guests moving around. Something to consider if you are sensitive to noise. But I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will def co spider coming back again

Brilliant for the start of the Two Oceans marathon. And a short jog to Green Point park for parkrun! The room was comfortable and the staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was great. The location was really convenient.

I liked my stay so much that I re-booked for the end of my trip. As a solo female traveller, the location was excellent, with key Sea Point amenities nearby. Also, key was easy Uber access to the start of the Two Oceans marathon. I left earlier than planned and was probably the first runner at the start in Newlands! Breakfast was great and the room was really comfy, with heating - a must after I got drenched in Cape Town’s rain. I’d previously only stayed in Air bnb’s in COT but I would highly recommend Villa Rosa.

Its the exceptional details of an elegant setting, generous breakfast with extra touches, that make it very special. Homemade pastries, organic marmalades, delicious coffee and honey & nuts to top off the warm home made oats and more. Great beds, linen, and towels..spa standards! Yes, stay here and walk to everything in Sea Point!

I felt very welcome and loved the overall atmosphere. The food was delicious, the room was comfortable, the staff were friendly and the area felt safe. Easy access to hiking trails just a few blocks away and downtown was walkable in under an hour (or uber was never more than a minute away). I would absolutely recommend and will definitely stay at the Villa Rosa again if I am back in Cape Town.

Wonderful BnB! 5 stars for everything. I had a beautiful, clean, and comfortable room. The view off the balcony is lovely and a relaxing place for a cup of tea in the morning. The location is great — a short walk to the waterfront walkway. The check-in is easy, the property area feels very safe, and the breakfast offering is superb. I also really appreciated the fresh milk in the room’s mini fridge for making my own tea. I will definitely return next time I’m in Cape Town.
