I would select this hotel again in a heart beat. Nice property in great location at a reasonable price. Breakfast was excellent as well and included cooked to order options. Staff was way above and beyond in helping. Highly recommended!

The PortsWood was the perfect location for a visit to Cape Town. From the minute we arrived the staff made us feel special. Upon entering our room, we were delighted with the cleanliness and amenities. The location was just perfect and we were able to see the waterfront area from our room. everything was just steps away. Super breakfast, good variety of food. The staff were great, they went out of their way to serve us. Always smiling and happy. The rooms were ok, the carpets looked a bit tired, but overall it was a lovely room. The best thing about it was it was walking distance from the V&A waterfront, the best area for walking, eating and going for trips.

We loved staying at this hotel! It's hard to choose when you have never been to the country or the area, but this location was amazing. We could walk down the safe, backroad through the hotels to the path that led right to the shops and restaurants and bay. We didn't rent a car and just walked each day. We also booked a few tours that picked us up right from the hotel. We loved the shops and all the restaurants close by. We enjoyed the work out room at the neighboring hotel that was included. Also a sauna and steam room. The staff was so friendly and the service in our room was great. We were so happy we picked this hotel. What a great time in Cape Town.
