Room was clean and elegant with beautiful views of the gardens. Staff at hotel was exceptional and helpful. Delicious breakfast and dinner at The Conservatory restaurant. Provided free shuttle services to the botanical gardens. Very safe location. Would definitely return!
Beautiful property, delicious food, friendly staff.
No proper warm water in shower, kept going cold. Very disappointing when paying more than R5,000 a night
What an incredible hotel! Stunning property, wonderful food, fabulous spa. All the staff (and subsequent service) are exemplary. Lucille, Garth & Lemoagh went above and beyond. The ladies at the restaurant (apologies I didn’t catch their names) were so cheerful. Highly recommend
This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in many years. Our first - but not last - visit to a delightful, peaceful, beautiful and friendly high quality hotel that deserves 5 stars. Service was immaculate and charming. A wonderful home from home.
We didn’t like having to leave the property to go on to our next destination. The property was beautiful in many areas - the buildings, the rooms, the grounds, the staff, the peacefulness, the ambiance - actually everything was just perfect as far as we were concerned.
Pictures simply don't do this place justice, such a stunning hotel with an invredible restaurant/bar and some lovely grounds with plenty of roses, cheese plants, and more. Breakfast is amazing and the team is very attentive. Would love to come back
Great botique hotel with some service shortcomings
Very nice botique hotel on beautiful grounds. Awesome restaurant with amazing decor and delicious breakfast.
Only the the response and service regarding some minor maintenance issues left a little bit to desire.
Quality of rooms and food excellent
Free transport to Capetown , Kirstenbosch and Constantia shopping village
Bar was disappointing - very quiet
Background music poor
However we will still be returning

Stayed for a few days at the end of a trip to SA. Staff are great but hotel is run down. You can see at some point this was a great hotel but now the rooms and bathrooms need a refurb. The restaurant is very pretty and the food is fine - not the best and wouldn’t recommend the restaurant for a meal out but for a hotel dinner is fine. We were not able to have a late check out which was disappointing.
