AVOID!
Reported MOULD on the bed the 1st night upon arrival.. staff was unable to assist, so had to spend night on the sofa....
Staff "cleaned" the mattress with bleach the 2nd day, but all that was left was a mouldy bed with a strong smell of bleach.... spent the 2nd night on the sofa...
Requested the bed be replaced, but this was not done.... spent 3rd night on the sofa...
Could not take this anymore & checked out... could not be expected to spend another night on the sofa & sleeping on the bed would have been a health & safety hazard.
Over & above all this the apartment itself definitely no "5 star"... very tired with broken drawers, mould (again) in the bathroom & just general disrepair.
Despite all this, the hotel REFUSED any refund for the remaining nights.. I had booked 14 nights... it was a "non-refundable" booking, but surely the hotel had some duty of care/minimal standard requirement to its guests??
Expedia, to it's credit, did provide some compensation, but it didn't nearly cover the money lost on this.
