Schönes, abgelegenes Landhaus

Schönes Landhaus mit nettem Personal. Leider gab es beim Luxury Zimmer keinen Balkon und auch keine Terrasse, das fanden wir etwas schade. Viele frische Produkte von der Farm beim Frühstück. Hotel liegt sehr ruhig, dafür auch abgelegen, zu Fuß weder Restaurants noch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vorhanden, das Hotel hat auch kein Restaurant. Alles in allem eine gute Unterkunft, aber vom Preis- Leistungsverhältnis hatten wir bessere Guesthouses während unserer Rundreise.

CANA Wineyard is a hidden gem, a must visit location if you are visiting the area. We found it by chance needing accommodation for one night. I wish we could have stayed longer! Amazing property, unparalleled views, personal service, unbeatable value for money. Highly recommended.

False information at booking

The confirmation email of the reservation clearly indicated “free breakfast”. In fact, it was part of the reason I chose them. Yet upon arrival the facility did not agree and even after showing the reservation email, they refused to include breakfast. Otherwise a beautiful place, but disappointing experience.

Overall venue location is secluded with beautiful views of the mountains and other wineries! The hotel/winery is undergoing ownership change. The decor in common area needs to be updated.

Wonderful experience and great hosts

This is a gem of a manor house tucked into a a lovely vineyard. Our room had a view of the sunrise/sunset, the vineyards and pond. The hosts were extremely welcoming and informative of the area and guided us to some other area highlights. It is worth returning and spending more time. It included a wonderful fully cooked breakfast. It is a bit hard to find if you don't know the area especially if you are following google maps. Better to ue their directions.

Really enjoyed the three nights that I stayed at Gavin and Jean's place just outside of Paarl. They are very personable and their Nwanedi Country Manor exceeded my expectations. Friendly, helpful staff with spacious well appointed rooms. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet get-away in wine country.
