We had a great stay during the Barefoot Country Music Festival. Our room was clean, the staff was so nice, the pool was nice too. Close to the beach. Loved having my coffee and/or drinks and dinner looking out at the ocean. The tram car was very convenient too. I would stay again.

My family and I have stayed at the Matador when visiting Wildwood over the years. The staff is pleasant, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Easy access to the beach and the boardwalk from the hotel. Close to Cape May as well. Always enjoy my stays there

Nice stay!

Nice hotel, wonderful, friendly staff. The room and pool were very clean and price was reasonable. My only complaint was the AC was very noisy., we could hear the elevator ding and open and a housekeeper entered our room without knocking. I am sure that was an honest mistake but what a SURPRISE! Would go again-loved the location.

First time saying at Matador and we were there for a quick weekend getaway. It’s all the way at one end of the boardwalk so if walking is an issue for you, it may not be the best option but it is directly across the street from the beginning of the boardwalk so it wasn’t terrible to us. You also can wait for the tramcar once you make it onto the boardwalk so again, there’s an option of walking isn't your thing.Room was clean, although pretty small so that was my only issue. We had a standard king room. The staff we encountered were friendly, and we always saw people cleaning either the rooms or around the property. The pool was clean as well. There’s a playground right on the property for the kids, and an upper deck if you’re into tanning. Overall I would stay here again.

Arrived early and was able to park in their parking lot, complete all the check in paperwork so I could enjoy the beach! The owners are so friendly and hospitable! This is a safe and family-friendly environment. Everyone, staff and guests, were friendly and respectful. Smoke-free and very clean. Ideal location right at the start of the boardwalk! Fantastic view of the ocean from the third and fourth floor decks that anyone staying here may enjoy! This is the best place to stay in North Wildwood!
