The property was clean, well-maintained, and was in a great location. 15 minute walk to the boardwalk and across the street from the beach. The pool was clean, the bed was comfortable, we loved the pink doors! The parking was easy, no need to park in front or behind other cars, everyone had their own spots. And it’s a family business! The only thing we wish we had was a deadbolt on our door and a fan in the bathroom. Otherwise, perfect spot!

We are not people who usually leave negative reviews, but this stay was disappointing. The rooms appeared to be recently renovated and were very clean, and we appreciated that. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by poor communication and customer service. We were surprised by an undisclosed 4% credit card fee where we had thought we paid via Expedia, were required to change rooms after our first night, experienced ongoing Wi-Fi issues that made the TV unusable, and had a shower head break because it appeared to have been previously repaired. Before we had even checked out, a housekeeper entered our room and began stripping the beds while our belongings were still inside. What disappointed us most was how these issues were handled. Instead of acknowledging our concerns, we often felt blamed. At checkout, the owners even said it was Expedia's fault that we had to change rooms, despite never explaining that when we arrived. We don't expect perfection—maintenance issues happen. We do expect honesty, courtesy, and respect. Had we been treated with kindness and professionalism, this review would never have been written. We hope the owners place the same emphasis on customer service as they have on improving the property.

Renter Beware, what you book online is not what you will pay when you arrive. They overcharge for everything and make up rules as they go and then charge you for it. 320 dollars is what we ended up paying for our 180 Expedia price and since you are paying directly to the hotel Expedia has no control over this.
