The most beautiful, magical, fairy tale like experience at The Harrison/Pharos Bed and Breakfast!
From the most delicious (and work-of-art breakfast) prepared by a talented chef Kamala, to the friendliest and most helpful management and all the staff, this was one of the best and most relaxing vacations we've ever had!
The hotel location is set on one of the prettiest streets in Cape May, surrounded by other Victorian ginger bread houses. It's only one block to the beach, and super close walk to Washington Street Mall, which made this experience even more amazing!
Top that off with the most stunning French style decor, and ability to enjoy the end of your day on a rocking chair of a magical Victorian wraparound porch, and you feel that you never want to leave.
Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!
The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive and the property itself is beautiful! The breakfast is always delicious, and the after noon tea with fresh baked pastries is such a treat. This is our second stay and we already can’t wait to come back.
The Harrison is wonderful! Breakfast each morning was particularly delightful! We will eagerly stay here again!

Beautiful! Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated how they were accommodating to food allergies. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Great location!
The staff was fantastic and accommodating. Peter and Mary were responsive to all questions and requests. The area was a minute walk from Washington Street and the beach.
Very cute stay !! Food is delicious- gluten free options are shockingly delicious as well so you don’t feel like you’re missing out! They also have vegan options
We just enjoyed a long weekend at The Harrison. The staff was friendly and helpful; breakfast each day was different and delicious. There were helpful additions like available umbrellas. The only negative I have is that there were bright lights on the front of the building shining on our windows, and no room-darkening window treatment. The drapes were pretty, but some room-darkening shades would be helpful!
Breakfast was ok. Two choices not really what I would eat for breakfast. Unfortunatey left early sunday before breakfast cause of nor ' eastern coming. . Hard to get info abt it. People were nice and accomodating if needed. TV in our room had to be plugged and unplugged to work. Wish i knew about the other building they had...pharos. Thought they would habe a walk in shower. Been to other places with more amenities and more helpful staff. Parking abit hard.
The Harrison provided the perfect Cape May experience. The staff was so sweet and accommodating to ensure we had everything we needed. The room was beautiful and the entire bed and breakfast was absolutely charming with a fireplace on and desserts/drinks out every evening to relax with. The location was ideal and just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Would love an opportunity to come back every year. My boyfriend and I fondly remember our stay there.
