The hospitality at this traditional bed and breakfast was top notch. The rooms were comfortable with a fantastic view of the water. The beach was accessible from the house. The host, Mike, was very friendly and prepared a wonderful breakfast each morning, so much that I couldn’t quite finish it. Delicious. Quiet and peaceful place to stay while you explore Cape Charles and the Eastern Shore.

I can't say enough good things about The Baywood Bed & Breakfast. This was my second visit, and it was just as lovely as the first. The cleanliness of the room is beyond any five-star establishment that I have stayed in. And the breakfast that is cooked by the Host Mike puts any breakfast I've had in any dining establishment to shame! I HIGHLY recommend the Baywood to anyone looking to enjoy a quiet, peaceful and relaxing experience.

This stay was wonderful. The host was informative and friendly and the location on the Chesapeake Bay was beautiful with an amazing private beach. This is a place for a quiet stay as Cape Charles is about 15 minutes north. The room was comfy and breakfast was great.
