Beautifully restored house with gorgeous landscaping! The owners were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! Sit-down breakfast was delicious but they also accommodated on another day with a yummy to-go breakfast when we had to leave early for a kayak tour. Bed was incredibly comfortable and room had everything we needed!

This B&B was absolute perfection. From the beautiful decor, the fantastic bedding, and delicious breakfasts, our hosts excelled at catering to their guests' every need. They were welcoming, helpful, and easy to deal with. The location was great! This was our first visit but it will not be our last!

This charming B&B was everything I had hoped for! It is a beautifully maintained historic home that is decorated with period pieces. Lovely fall decor was in every room of the house as well as outside the Inn, which gave it a sense of occasion. My room was cozy, and had all the amenities any traveler would want. The inn keepers attended to every detail that made this Inn the unique treasure that it is. Lively conversation with the owners and the other guests accompanied the gourmet breakfasts each morning. Centrally located in Cape Charles, I was able to walk to shops, restaurants, a spa, and the local brewery and distillery. I highly recommend Bay Haven Inn of Cape Charles!

A True Gem

If in the area, this is the place to stop. Spacious rooms with appropriate furniture. Relaxing atmosphere. There is not much in the town for shopping and such, but The Shanty restaurant had good food with a relaxed atmosphere. The Inn was so inviting that you would not want just a one night stay.

Didn't want to leave!

Just returned from our 2nd visit to the Bay Haven Inn. You need to visit! Tammy and Jim are the most gracious hosts you will ever meet. Breakfast is incredible! Location is perfect!

Continued perfection

Jim and Tammy continue to out do themselves with hospitality and outstanding food. We love the central location. The porch provided room to invite local friends over to enjoy the evening with us. A concert in the park behind the in. Was a lovely way to spend an evening with picnic set ups provided by Tammy and Jim! You will not be disappointed

This was our 3rd year staying at the Bay Haven Inn, and again everything was wonderful. Cape Charles is a great place to visit but, even if it wasn't, you still must go and hang out with Jim and Tammy. It will certainly be worth the trip.

Lovely Stay at Bay Haven Inn

My husband and I enjoyed our time in Cape Charles very much last week. Our hosts at Bay Haven could not have been more kind and helpful. The Inn is comfortable and inviting and breakfast was just delightful! We will definitely look forward to our next visit...hopefully we wont have to wait too long!

Second stay even better than the first!

This was our second stay at Bay Haven Inn and Tammy some how managed to make it even better than the first. Our room was lovely with it's fresh coat of paint. The bed was super comfy and the shower was super. This time we got to enjoy the flowers! Her garden is not to be missed. Tammy is heavily involved in the local community as well so she's a wealth of knowledge about happenings around town and the local scene. We had to leave early the next morning but Tammy was still able to accommodate us with a yummy breakfast before we hit the road. Highly recommend this Inn for your stay in Cape Charles.

A very special place

This was our second time to the Bay Haven Inn. It is warm and inviting, and Tammy and Jim the best hosts. We felt very comfortable staying at Bay Haven and will be back again. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. The Bay Haven Inn and the town of Cape Charles are both pleasant places to visit.

The Bay Haven Inn and its innkeepers, Tammy and Jim, provided an outstanding B&B experience. The location is walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. Breakfast is outstanding! There is ample street parking, wifi, comfortable beds, relaxing front porch, beverage station overall very clean property. The area is rich in history and provides a wonderful haven from the hustle and bustle.

Fabulous
