The room fit the 1-star. Everything worked. The staff were polite and did all they could to fill our needs quickly. Es/ I went down and asked if they had hair dryers. The staff person jumped to hand one to me, with the attitude "I'm sorry you had to make a special trip." Seemed quite pricy, but the room was clean.

An older building but rooms and area are kept very clean, staff was very friendly, quiet area within walking distance to small shops and restaurants. Kids enjoyed the pool as well. Some breakfast/snacks and coffee available for breakfast.

The location was ok. The room was clean. No elevator and I was instructed to access my room by the outdoor stairway which was narrow and had very crowded space at the top, especially if there was someone standing on the platform. Also, I had booked and paid through Expedia and, going through my bank statement realized that I had also been charged by the motel. I called the motel and they said they would refund the charges.
