What I like: Room is big enough, safe neighborhoods, very convenient with publix and Kroger across the street, staffs are friendly, Price is reasonable What I dislike: No slippers for guest in room, no hair blow dryer, soundproof is bad in whole building

I enjoyed my stay at WoodSpring Suites. The hotel is new and very clean. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Being a female traveling alone, I felt safe. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5-star rating is because there is no hairdryer, coffeemaker, extra blankets or pillows in the room or anything in the kitchenette. You have to bring everything with you. Also, I am a Choice Hotels Member, and even though they are part of the Choice Hotels Family, they are not part of the rewards program. So I couldn’t upgrade my wifi or use other benefits from the rewards program.

Since it is brand new, everything was in great shape. Although we encountered a technological problem during check-in with the system and the front desk computers, staff was very nice and friendly. I suggest to have hair dryer/blower for ladies and a mirror outside the bathroom. Besides that, excellent!

Michael, Sylvia, and the rest of the staff are nothing short of welcoming and extremely professional. We stayed at the facility for over a week and the entire experience was something we will definitely do again. Being in town several times a year for baseball, this will be our place to stay from here on out.

Issues: initial room wasn’t cleaned (given a new room), double charged for room (in addition to security deposit) told it should be taken care of when we checked out. Paper thin walls (noisy neighbors next door and above). “New construction” smell still very strong. Kitchenette not stocked at all - nothing. Microwave popped circuit breaker when used. Pros: bed was nice, a/c worked well. Staff was very nice. Expedia price was great.

The room was cleaning except a dirty bathroom mirror. No extra mirror in the bedroom; only mirror was in the bathroom. No coffee maker in the room. No hair dryer in the room. Thin bath towels. A very noisy sleeping experience. Walls and floors super thin and we heard everything! We requested a bottom floor since we have a blind dog and we were disappointed that they put us on the 3rd floor. We didn’t stay the 2nd night even though we paid for it.

This is a new property so it's very clean still. However the young lady who checked us in was not helpful at all. She literally watched me carrying stuff in and trying to figure out how to use the key (which in on the wall not on the door) and dropping things and offered no assistance. She then charged us $150 when we asked for towels. That $150 took talking to the manager and 6 days to get back. We were also charged the incidentals fee of $150. So with the two extra charges and the room fee our bill was close to $400 for one night.The bed is a step up from a doctor's office exam table, seriously. The room came with no sundries, towels or washcloths. Desi was WONDERFUL in trying to get our bill adjusted as was the manager. The incidental fee was credited back at check out but the other one took a while. Probably would not stay here again based on the bed alone.
