“Two weeks into our holiday, this is the loveliest place we have stayed so far. The owners were both so friendly and helpful, and the room was gorgeous. Lots of very thoughtful little touches. It was nice to be just off the main road and nice and quiet, but still very easy walk to everything. I can recommend this accomodation without hesitation, and if I am lucky enough to come back to Hanmer springs again I would stay here again in a heartbeat.”

“What a unique property. Staying on an airport runway in a converted hangar with real planes was a highlight. We are so glad that we chose Pukaki Air Lodge. Mary is a wonderful host and made our stay so enjoyable. We loved our tour of the hangar and seeing the planes. Our room was spacious and so well appointed. “We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment with our 2 x kids on the fold out couch in the lounge area. Great value for money. The facilities were excellent: comfy bed, good shower, kitchen with dishwasher & full size fridge. The apartment was lovely and spacious & sunny & quiet. Would recommend this to other travelers.”
