It's a good, clean room, an excellent location, affordable rates. It's nothing too fancy, but it's a great option. The front desk was exceptionally friendly at check-in. And the view from the room was of the mountains and water, it was very nice.

The Drake inn is a little bit old but its maintenance is good. The staffs are awesome, very seeet, specifically the lovely lady who works from 5pm to 10pm. Also, the included parking is what makes it stressful free. Itā€™s close to town, where its walkable to restaurants, shops, and trails.

Great cheap place to stay during the winter months. The rooms have been freshly renovated and the outside just got a fresh coat of paint (summer of 2025). The pup has excellent food and amazing staff. The inn is within walking distance of downtown and lots of restaurants.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were clean, service good and food good. Parking was very good with spaces always available close to our room. The beds and bedding was good. The room was a little dirty: stains on the carpet, basic shower with 'clunky' knobs, sparse and chipped/stained furniture, no door on the closet, little drawer space. This is a motel described as a hotel. There was no lounge or meeting area in the hotel with doors to the rooms from the parking lot and open hallways. We understand that this a big tourist area and hotel rooms are going to be expensive but we thought that for the type of hotel the fees were expensive.

This hotel is a sweet gem in Canmore! Walking distance to everything shops, restaurants, the walk along the creek is beautiful. The room had everything you need and a great view of the Three Sisters. Staff was so friendly and quick to fix an error on the charges. We danced the night away at the bar attached to the hotel then strolled back to our room. Great stay would definitely book again.

Terrific fun and great staff in the office at the restaurant/pub. After being in a room that felt too exposed, staff were very accommodating to my request for a room off the main floor. Very comfortable beds, the amenities were as stated, and wonderful proximity to everything we wanted.
