The room was modern, clean and large. The staff were very friendly. However, the hotel is located beside the train tracks. Our room looked onto the mountains and the tracks. The train passes by multiple times during the night. We counted it at least 5 times between midnight and 6am. Maybe the rooms facing Bow Valley Trail are quieter, but I can’t recommend the hotel because of the train noise.

This is a great place to stay in Canmore. Good location, clean, comfortable bed, and loved the added amenity of a speciality coffee machine and a large common area with tables and chairs. You should note that there is no elevator, so my husband who walks with a cane had some difficulty, and carrying our heavy bag up a flight of stairs was not easy. Otherwise, great place.

The staff were very helpful. The room was very clean. The location is walkable to downtown. Parking was easy as well. There’s a coffee bar and open space to relax and eat meals which was great. The only concern is that the train passes near the lodge every few hours. It’s not very loud and we were mostly able to sleep through it. Ear plugs were provided by the lodge as well.

Train track with lots of trains right behind, parking is very tight, room clean and has what you need but nothing more. Bed and pillow average. Great location for walking to eat with plenty of options. Average hotel, nothing special but at almost $1,700 for 3 nights, I guess I expected more but then again you are close to Banff and nothing in this area is cheap.
