Really enjoyed out stay. Went with a family of 4 (wife and 2 teens daughters). The room was beautiful. Large, spacious and clean. The resort was beautiful as well. Breakfast buffet was very good/excellent. Dinners were great overall. Really great food for an all inclusive. Steakhouse and Chinese were excellent. Sushi was below average and the Mexican restaurant was a bit underwhelming as well. Service was excellent in the restaurants and on the Beach.

Loved the resort! The food was terrific and the staff were very friendly and service-oriented. My only complaint is the requirement to close out the check (and be presented with the awkward gratuity option) every time you eat, drink, or order something. This was the first all-inclusive resort I have ever had to think about money at (outside normal tips for great service) and I would very much like for that aspect to go away for all-inclusive guests here. Additionally, other reviews rave about the Butler service but we were told reservations made though Expedia do not include that service, which was a disappointment.

This is our third trip here and I can’t say enough wonderful things! The food is top notch, cleanliness is wonderful. What stands out the most is the staff. So friendly. Our favorites are Daniel and Carlos. Daniel went above and beyond taking care of us at the pool everyday. Carlos was on it with drinks!

The staff at this resort were incredible. They were friendly, accommodating, personable, funny and kind. They truly elevate the resort experience. The food was next level, the room service menu, the restaurants and the cocktails, all fresh and delicious. However, we booked this resort because we read reviews that is had no night life and was quiet in the evenings. This was not the case. While we were there, there were two weddings, that had window rattling, music until 11pm. Since the resort is small, the venue's were essentially in the court yard and the sound bounced between the three towers. For that reason alone, I would not recommend this resort.

This is our 2nd time here and we went back mainly for the gourmet food. We enjoyed Hiroshi Fire table the most followed by Blanca Blue, Food Truck, Bocados & Snack Bar. The breakfast buffet spread was really good with lots of selections as well. Food at DAO was just ok but we enjoyed the show when they were serving desserts (for a birthday). Service by the F&B crew was consistently great at all places. The only con I have is the “presentation” disguised as VIP upgrade or free breakfast/spa/tours but is actually just timesharing. We did not go for this and we do hope the concierge will respect and professionally accept the guests’ decision to reject such offers. Other than this, everything was great. Clean rooms, generous supply of snacks and drinks in the room, plush towels and comfy pillows.

The Good:The resort and rooms are absolutely stunning with a true 5-star aesthetic. The property is visually beautiful and well-maintained. The Not-So-Good: Kid-Friendliness: A huge miss for parents. Pool service (food/drinks) doesn’t start until 11:00 AM. We were there by 9:00 AM, and by the time food arrived, the kids were hangry. Even towels and water are DIY until 11:00 AM. Dining: Food quality was "meh" at best. On the all-inclusive plan, drinks were watered down, though tipping generously helped.
