Lovely location, lovely staff, lovely food. Simply a great experience for a family with kids (our kids are less than 10). The resort is quiet and not crazy allowing you to relax, extra safe and give you access to extra amenities at the sister resort the royal sands. This was our second visit there and we recognize a few of the staff indicating that they have good retention of their people. The facility is well maintained, quieter and a good spot to relax. I would recommend the location for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy the Mexican sun,

Great family friendly facility. Carlos was extremely helpful the entire stay, despite what other reviews said we did not experience any pushy sale tactics. I feel the tour was very informative as we would have missed half the amenities without. It was nice to stay at the smaller quiet resort but still get to experience Royal Sands amenities. The food at Royal Cancun was alright, we like more traditional Mexican food and bold flavor but can understand how serving a variety of people of all ages and backgrounds it’s hard to please all. The Italian restaurant was lovely and our visit to Royal Sands Sisal Hacienda was outstanding. The grounds were very clean and the family suite was exceptional for our group of 6 (2 stories, master suite upstairs) The resort is a 10 minute walk to the ferry, nearby taxi and overall convenient location.

good clean rooms perfect for families nice clean grounds and a quieter smaller resort with access to larger better royal sands as well which is nice. Only downside is buffet food not very good and a strange collection of keycard at every meal where they hold it and make you ask for it back? while your family is ready to head out only resort ive ever seen this at they should definently not ever take your room key other than to scan it quickly this was a very annoying feature for a family of five that does not like to spend vacation waiting speed things up abit
