The Hotel was great. The view from our room was amazing. Breakfast was delicious, but not so many options as a buffet, but still great. The staff was very courteous and attentive. I would stay again for the closeness of the beach access and the views.

We had an amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, everything was welcoming, clean, and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. The location was perfect and made it easy to explore the island, while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The room was comfortable, spotless, and had everything we needed for a great vacation. Isla Mujeres is absolutely beautiful, and staying here made the experience even better. We made so many unforgettable memories and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay at the lotus beach hotel. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was delicious! Snorkeling right is the beach coast was a nice bonus. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants!!

This is our second time staying at the Lotus, we love the location, the proximity to downtown, the beach, the staff is amazing, Thomas and Fernando remembered us from last time and were amazing as always, this is an amazing, quiet, beautiful place to stay if you’re on the island.

We stayed in one of the rooms with a plunge pool. It was fantastic! We had a great view of the beach and ocean. The bed was comfy and the room was well situated. The hotel is located right on Playa Norte across from another resort. The ocean is so blue and beautiful and there were a lot of fish that would swim near you. The staff was very professional and friendly, especially Alexander. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Lotus Beach Hotel! A few highlights: the beach is steps away from their amazing beach club, Guru Beach Club; the staff is attentive and accommodating (shout out to Karen and Martha); the hotel is small and adults only so it’s pretty quiet and a great place to unwind; easy to access food and bars nearby. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a generally good stay at Lotus Beach Hotel, but there were definitely some things I liked more than others. The hotel itself is very small and intimate, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and overall the room was fine for the amount of time we actually spent in it. That said, the room did feel older and could use some updating. You can tell the property works hard to maintain things, especially being right on the ocean, but I personally would not consider the room itself to be at a true four-star level. One thing I was not impressed with was the hotel’s association with Guru Beach Club. The location is obviously excellent because it is right on Playa Norte and easy for people driving golf carts to stop at, but I did not feel the service at Guru was as good as some of the other beach clubs we visited. Personally, I much preferred Oceanvs and Green Demon. Breakfast during our stay was actually served at Oceanvs rather than through a kitchen at Lotus/Guru, and that ended up being a positive because we really enjoyed Oceanvs. Overall, Lotus has a very good location, a friendly staff, and comfortable beds, but the rooms could use some updating and the Guru Beach Club experience was not a highlight for us. I’m glad we stayed and experienced it, but if I returned to Isla Mujeres, I would probably choose another hotel such as Casa del Jaguar or Ixchel instead.

Lotus: Clean rooms. Front desk is very informative. Taxi service is usually readily available right outside Lotus. They also have their own golf carts to rent. Spa treatment was great. Guru restaurant food at lotus was great (two plates we ordered ceviche and the black angus burger with truffle fries - best truffle fries I’ve had anywhere, ask for the habanero hot sauce it’s delicious) although they close the beach access from lotus relatively early in the evening you still have access to it through the outside, exiting Lotus. (Public access) Lotus staff can also help you book excursions, ask them about them. Prices vary around the island but not by much so it’s convenient to just do it where you already are staying. Getting there: If you have luggage I suggest get a taxi there from the ferry, should be around 50-100 pesos. Another option is to get someone to wheel your luggage for you and they work for tip.
