It’s a starter hotel. The couch was stained but the pool was very clean and the restaurant was ok. Great access to the beach. Hotel needs to be renovated and minor fixing. But overall if you’re traveling on a budget you can’t complain. Check in is at 3pm sharp not one minute before. We waited by the pool for 3 or 4 hrs because they wouldn’t let us check in early. But they were helpful with directions also with things to do off the resort. Not much to do on resort so look up outside activities. Overall it’s nice for a budget trip or first time in Mexico.

I like that they had a pool with a bar in the middle and that they had a restaurant right on the property too. Prices weren't very high and the room was amazing. I didn't even realize the room had a hot tub until I got there which was nice. My only complaint is that there was literally nothing around except a oxxo store which is like a Mexico 711. I walked over two miles and didn't see any other stores except one. Other than that, the resort basically had everything else.

We had a good time. The pool is nice. The beach was small but they kept it free of sea weed. It's an older hotel so the wear and tear is visible. The on site restaurant is ok however the selection is limited. You are quite a ways out from the coco bongo area. But the busses stop within a few blocks if u don't Uber. We didn't get what we expected but we weren't completely let down.

If you’re looking for a hotel and not trying to spend a lot I would suggest staying here , it’s not luxurious but it’s a very good hotel ! The pool is amazing and very relaxing , along with the amazing view of the beach , which was what I was looking for , a hotel by the beach. The staff here are very attentive to helping with whatever it is you need . Room service came to clean everyday which was a plus ! This hotel is close to everything like places to eat or the downtown area just take a short uber . I would recommend this hotel I don’t have anything negative to say ! They also have 2 bars ! I would return to this hotel again if given the chance .

I absolutely loved staying at this hotel. The staff were so helpful and courteous. The view from the pool was incredible even though there was a lot of seaweed in many places we didn’t experience as much and the beach was very well maintained this made for a super plus during this high season for seaweed the pool could use a little TLC, but the staff does an excellent job of maintaining everything as clean as possible. The room was cozy and very clean but again the bathroom shower for our particular room needs a little TLC for the amount of money I paid for seven days. This is a Primo spot close to the downtown area about 15 minutes. I found out that you could pay 10 pesos to get on the bus that will take you to the downtown place if you come make sure you go to La Isla shopping center. Overall, the location was spectacular couldn’t ask for a better spot for such an affordable place.

The hotel's location is excellent—truly right on the beach. The cleanliness is adequate, but the hotel's overall appearance is quite unsightly; it looks abandoned. The pool coping is rusted, and paint is peeling off the walls in several areas. In my room, the bathroom door was rusted and had a piece breaking off. The glass balcony door was jammed and difficult to open. The elevator corners were rusted. I believe the owners should invest in renovating the exterior. You can't even make out the hotel's name from the avenue because the signage has faded away.

Great location, but maintenance needs serious work Location is the best thing about Hotel Cyan. It sits right on the beach with a nice pool area, and the views are beautiful. You're basically steps from the ocean, which makes up for a lot. That said, the maintenance state leaves a lot to be desired. The toilets in the room don't work properly, the room smells musty/moldy, and the sliding door doesn't close well so it feels insecure. There aren't enough power outlets to charge your phone and other devices. Also, you can hear a lot of outside noise coming into the room, so it's not very peaceful if you want to sleep. If they fix the basic upkeep and soundproofing, this could be a great spot because the beach + pool setup is really nice. Right now though, the issues make it hard to recommend unless you're only there for the location and don't mind the flaws.
