This property's main selling aspect is proximity to the beach. The building / rooms is newer / clean. Bathroom shower is nice size walkin. I suggest the property provide a map of how to access the property. This is a common complaint from people who stayed here.

Our room at Cuxos was really lovely and we had an amazing view. A microwave would have been a nice addition and beware there is no elevator. We were under the impression we could use the lounge chairs on the beach for free (with a tip of course) but were told by the guys working that it was 600 pesos plus a food/beverage requirement. Just next door at The Mayan/Nauti Beach there was only a 600 pesos food/beverage requirement. So for our 2 beach days we went there instead.

You cannot beat the view from this hotel. It overlooks Playa Norte and is such a great location. You can walk to Hidalgo, walk to the Ferry, and walk to rent a golf cart. This is a traditional hotel with no huge thrills, but with that view, they aren't needed. Everything was cleaned daily and everything worked. This hotel shares the same office and facilities as Chichis and Charlies. We had a wonderful time.

We liked it but the construction in front of our room and in front of bar area was bad. All the people coming and going from day ferry walk right through where your lounge chairs are.

Pros: literally on the beach; lots of restaurants within 10-20 minutes walking distance; staff is great Cons: the next door hotel takes the trash out at 430/530am so lots of loud glass breaking for approx 20 minutes; dragging luggage through sand to get to the room can be inconvenient; hard to find someone to check in if after dark (630pm); restaurant/bar only open for 6-7 hours a day Overall: would stay here again

Room was directly on the beach which was very nice. The room itself was very clean and nice. Parking is not very good at all. Overall a decent place expect for the very hard uncomfortable bed. Other than the bed, blankets and very low mirror in the bathroom it was a pleasant stay. There really wasn’t a “front desk” but staff was around whenever you needed something. Nothing spectacular but good enough to stay again!!

Great location hard beds clean

Beds were very hard. Very basic room but clean with a fridge witch was great. We had booked three rooms for a two week period however they canceled all our reservations except for our one for the final night on the island to accommodate another group. We were really disappointed by this as it left us in the learch struggling to find another place to house 7 people for the duration of our trip
