The hotel has a nice view but has had its best days in the past. Property was clean but very dated. Very low staff. The staff there was present was helpful and nice. Limited menu options.

Beautiful stylish property with artwork everywhere. Spacious clean rooms. Friendly staff especially the front desk man who checked us in. Steps to beach and grocery store 5 min walk away. Property needs a bit of a update but for the price excellent value. Beds werent great but we will stay again!

If your looking for a calm and quiet place, go to this hotel! Also a very nice spot! Beach is not crowded compare to other hotel. The only problem with the property is a bit outdated. Its very nice in the lobby area, i love the paintings and the classic look! It reminds of the 90's! I hope the owner would do some renovations on the hotel, hotel employees are nice and friendly, also they have a restaurant that is beachfront! The menu is okay. You have enough options to choose. Walking distance to luxury mall, grocery store (Soriana) also walking distance to restaurants! Property is in Hotel zone. Highly recommended for everyone who wants a quiet place to relax. Also if your not picky ull be okay!

It's like staying in a museum - paintings and sculptures everywhere - with the plus of a good restaurant onsite and good location relative to Cancun shops. The furnishings are dated, and there are no appliances in the room (no fridge, no coffee-maker, no microwave), but we enjoyed our meals at the small onsite restaurant and considered the rest to be part of the old-world ambience of the hotel, a big contrast to the mammoth Royal Sands next door (and BTW, we've been Royal Resorts owners for 20 years, so we're very familiar with the Sands.) Very pleasant staff, too. We'll be back.

Pros: Room was large. Great view of pool and ocean. Nice beach area. Nice location. The art and sculptures were interesting. The people that work there were great. Built in 1991, this property has some great potential to be what it once was with a little work and some dollars invested. Cons: ALL hot tubs on patios in the rooms do not work. Elevator seldom works forcing us to walk flights of stairs every time we left the room. Patio had broken deck boards with holes. No microwave. No kitchenette. Small freezer in small refrigerator. No ice access or ice machine. Mini split a/c unit leaked every day leaving puddles on the floor by the exit door and in our hallway. Sometimes no hot water for showers. No working hot tub on premises. Small pool. Walking down the driveway has concrete tiles that are coming out, uneven and dangerous. Tennis court is run down and cannot be used. Beds are rock hard. Paint is peeling throughout the whole property. Advertised photos of the property were taken in 2015 and not a close representation of the property today. Does not have a 24 hour service desk. They only provide you with one key per room. Pretty much a self service hotel.

This place was beautiful with my 11 year old daughter. We felt safe and it was near many resturants and things to do. We also took the bus around the hotel zone for 12 pesos. The mall has a great grocery store and beautiful restaurants across the street . I recommend the Italian and Greek for a fun evening experience. The place is relaxing and not busy like downtown. The beach is beautiful and there is a lifeguard down on the beach . ⛱️ This is like a boutique hotel and the staff really were accommodating, just ask they will help you with whatever you need.
