The family rooms are lovely yes basic but that is all we required. The staff were helpful, the key app great as we could both have it logged on our phones and didn't risk forgetting to return keys

My first time in hostel. I stayed in 4 bed dorm, first night was on my own and second night with 2 other ladies. I did have reservations about staying but on the whole it was great. The area outside was quite noisy due to being on main road and could have been kept cleaner but would definitely stay again

Liked the price and location. Would be good to have accessible parking, even at a cost. No hairdryer in the room, would suggest at least installing one in the shared bathrooms. Felt insecure using the kettle and mugs in the room.

Pretty techy- can check-in/out without interacting with any staff. You can even open the front door and door to your room with their app. The only thing that I think they can improve on is having an outlet at each bed. Having an outlet inside the locker is nice and all but I would like to have easy access to my phone when I go to bed and when I wake up.

The only good thing about this property is its location as it's close to Canberra Centre. There is only one lift in the property which is quite busy and you have to wait. I stayed in a family room. There were no wardrobes. No hooks in the bathroom so you can't hang your clothes while you are taking shower. The heating is controlled by the reception and when we checked in, the room was very cold. You have no control over heating/cooling. Cutlery provided in the main kitchen was oily, perhaps not properly cleaned. No free parking around the property. I had to struggle finding a parking as I had to stay for 2 nights. I won't recommend the property for a family stay.

Poor housekeeping, cobwebs near the curtains, moth flying around in the room all night, dust on the table lamps and back of the table, whole room needed a proper deep clean, couldn’t lock the room door from inside and given access is via an app on the phone felt a bit unsafe, no temp control in the room and no one at reception to help with making it warmer, no tea spoons, fridge still had stuff in it, very noisy could hear everything going on outside esp the banging of doors and the dryer from the bathroom. Bed was decent and bed linen and towels were clean. Such a shame because some decent housekeeping would have been a game changer although not sure what could be done for how noisy it is. Basically a clean bed in an excellent location really which is fine for a decent hostel but pretty awful when I paid $188 for one of their private rooms.

What a great location, right in the heart of Canberra & for such an amazing price & walking distance to all city attractions. Everything was so neat, clean & tidy with great facilities. I definitely highly recommend it as great value for money. Reception staff were very warm & friendly. I'll definitely book again on my next visit to Canberra. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely decor and I was happy with share facilities. The staff were great efficient friendly. Location is easy to other transport and the Canberra sights and shopping. Lots of road work and construction so factor a little extra time to your plans. I’m very happy to return.

There was no room key, the application and website to use for a the room key did not work on my Telstra service and the attendant behind the desk was not very helpful. Overcharged for a towel for $10 which is shameful. The place was very loud and difficult to sleep in but the staff weren’t as helpful as they could’ve been.
