Very close to the Queanbeyan train station, across from a bus stop, nice family atmosphere. I felt very safe there. The staff were always friendly and welcoming.

Affordable overnight stay enroute from Melbourne to Sydney. Although noisey in the bar and restaurant, our room was very quiet up on the 2nd floor. Pleasant stay.

The most incredible stay at any hotel of my life. I arrived miserably but the Bar Managers Nick and Lachlan and Oscar took very good care of me, had me laughing and smiling within minutes. Absolutely wonderful location! I even got locked out at midnight and called the number for help, Lachlan the Manager was there within a minute. Very helpful, wonderful time and highly recommend to anyone and everyone

This property is an old hotel. One floor has been renovated nicely for guest accommodation. Price was good. All hours access. Two high floors to climb by stairs was only drawback

Didn't know what to expect but wow. From friendly staff, the clean room and amenities, everything was great. The bed was the best, I love a firm mattress. Special note, it is a pub so there is going to be noise from everyone having a fun night out. As expected. Would book again.

The room was clean and had been beautifully renovated. Although it’s shared bathroom and toilet, they’re clean and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall excellent quality for the price. It’s 15 min drive to Canberra, but if you don’t feel like going out the pub has plenty on with yummy meals. Highly recommend.

The hotel is primarily a sports bar with rooms above. The bar is permanently noisy during trade hours and that suits the many happy bar patrons. The rooms are two flights of stairs up and so are quiet enough, but there is nowhere quiet to eat one of the good quality meals. The shared bathrooms worked OK because there are several self-contained mini bathrooms together so you're always likely to find a free one and everything works. But, the refresh is starting to look tired and the hot water pressure is feeble. And if the pub is busy, good luck finding a parking space.

We arrived to a packed premises with 2 functions on the go downstairs - it was difficult to locate reception - we had to walk through the crowds to the rear of the building where there was a function underway. 3 flights of stairs to get to room (no lift) and no parking availble. We changed our minds and decided to go elsewhere, asked for a refund but are still yet to receive it.
