The room was very well appointed. It was in an old excellent position. Even though the restaurant downstairs wasn’t open there was an excellent restaurant nearby. Whilst we are used to having parking on-sight and we were a bit worried about having to park in the lot across the road for security sake it worked out fine. Would definitely stay in an Abode apartment again.

We had a spacious twin room with kitchenette on the second floor. It was clean apart from the grout in the bathroom which needed a good scrub. The beds were comfortable but there were some plumbing noises from our apartment and others nearby that were disruptive during the night. The windows are not double glazed so traffic noise particularly from buses outside was audible until fairly late at night. We stayed on the Easter weekend and took advantage of the free parking across the road on weekends and public holidays. The hotel is just a short walk from a large shopping centre so was convenient for transport and provisions.

Overall okay but not good value for money. The room was okay. Good to have a kitchen and washer. Amenity is good with Westfield close by. However the property was poorly maintained. There was almost no housekeeping. They said you can only have housekeeping on every fourth day. Rubbish was out there for two days without being collected. Room was very noisy. There was a constant squeeking noise from the lifts. The lifts are very loud and shaking and need service. The TV screen kept flashing and cannot connect. The air con broke on the last night. It kept resetting itself without being able to control temperature. Wifi was very poor and keeps disconnecting. There is literally no facility in this hotel. No gym or swimming pool. Very boring. Buffet breakfast is expensive. The cafe isn't worth the money.

The hotel is well located, walking distance to Westfield Woden. The rooms were spacious and had amenities like a washing machine. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was perhaps the lighting... They have interesting feature lighting, but it was wired with the rest of the lights in the room affecting the mood of the room. This isn't a big deal for me, but for my husband. Otherwise, it was great. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

On the plus side it is central to all tourist spots, large room and well-equipped kitchen and comfortable king size bed. On the minus the room only had one lounge chair but set up for 2 people and the parking was over the road at easy park with paid parking between 8.30am till 5.30pm.
