This is the real deal! Historic property with great food, great rooms. Had a suite, very nice. We were welcomed by howler monkeys, deer and agouti (which is pleural for agouti). Nice clean pool. 4 star luxury. Stayed on our way to the airport, easy commute 45 minutes.

Property is inviting and well kept. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had a walk through patio door to the outside but no screen.i would have loved to leave it open but the mosquitoes, mainly, were bad. It is the jungle, but I prefer to shower off the bug spray at night. The restaurant was convenient and watching the agoutis, iguanas and deer roam around was fabulous. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again.

Friendly and helpful check in, spacious, quiet and charming room. Easy access to the property off the highway, but the room felt secluded. We saw deer, acouti, and howler monkeys. Good breakfast buffet and an easy 45 minute drive to our car rental near the airport.
