What a delightful surprise, both the property and surrounding area of Camperdown. I chose the larger cabin for a short stay. Amenities, cleanliness, and layout of accommodation were tops. Learnt about the connection in the area to Robert Burns, including an annual Burns Festival. Note: park is not within walking distance to town or shops. Note: park is surrounded by views and natural features. Looking forward to staying again.

Not sure if price matched the quality

The bedding provided was clean. However the kitchen could have been a lot cleaner, fridge freezer was dirty, kitchen cutlery was very uncoordinated, it looked like 3 different sets were put together, extraction fan hood was dusty, kitchen blind had stained brown marks. Pots were of good quality though. Bathroom was relatively clean. Frame under bunk beds had spider webs, although there were no insects in the cabin. The couch cushions were flat, looked overused and nit very pleasing to rest on, not sure if covers were washed eutger could dare to smell them. There was definitely a heavy woody odour in the cabin, it would have been nice to have a more pleasing welcoming smell/scent. There was a large clock in the living room which didn't work, not sure what the point was to have it. Plates, cups were decent quality and all appeared to be of the same set. Cooking utensils were good, a wide variety although a potato masher would have been good. It just felt that the owner of the property made his investment a while ago and has not updated his furniture etc as time has moved on. They need to update some things named above and then they will catch up with what other cabins are now offering.

Wonderful location. Great cabin. Only downside was the difficulty in communication with the managers. No onsite access, which made it hard to sort out issues with WiFi.

Enjoyed the holiday park. Was great with little ones with the playground and gardens at the rear. The actual cabin was great and a perfect set up for us. Couldn't check in after hours using the automated kiosk but phoned the after hours number and was helped immediately....which was great. The cleanliness was a little questionable. - Crockery and Cutlery was dirty and needed washing before use. - Under the couches were filthy (my son dropped a toy that went under) -

I like the property, beautiful place. Unfortunately, i think there is a breakage of communication. I've paid on expedia and was asked to pay again at lakes before I get the key. Now I have to contact expedia to get my money back.

Work trip. Would come back again to relax & enjoy

Was here for work on one of the coldest days in a long time. So many good views and things to check out, but I'll have to wait for next time as my time was limited (and Cold) Heaters and electric blanket worked very well. Nice self ocntained cabin with ecerything you need. Very easy self check in and great comunication prior to arival to make it all very smooth.

Lakes and Craters Holiday Park Camperdown

Excellent views of the crater lake, right beside the botanical gardens and a very quiet location well away from the main highway. If you need access to the town for supplies or meals you'll need to drive. It trip up to nearby Mt Leura is definitely worth the effort. Check in system was a bit clunky, took several goes before the Automated Kiosk actually recognised me attempting to check in. Ensuite was rather small and may challenge people with limited mobility

Comfortable, Affordable Cabins with an amazing vie

The owners of this place are wonderfully friendly, helpful and welcoming. The cabins themselves are comfortable, if a little basic - but the location, the view and the service are 5 star! I stay here often when my work brings me to Western Victoria, and I would never consider staying anywhere else.

Gorgeous location, comfortable cabin

This caravan park is in a beautiful, quiet spot high above the township and next to two crater lakes and a small, old botanic garden. There are panoramic views to regional volcanic features from the end of the park. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had lots of kitchen utensils and extras such as an iron. The gate is locked dawn to dusk, although I think residents can get an entry password. There are some on-site phone towers.

Well kept park. The cabin we stayed in was lovely

Lovely cabin ,lovely park , lovely staff. Tad pricey when you pay for 2 extra (the kids) and have to pay for linen for those 2 or bring your own.

Awesome Views in Quiet Surroundings.

This was an unexpected gamble, a pin in an internet site after local hotels proved extravagantly over-priced. It worked. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in a cabin which was heated, clean, comfortable if a little lacking in personality. It's just a cabin, but it does the job and is worth every bit of the price.And the views are worth every cent. The walk to town is challenging but for people coming to hike it is a warm-up. For those who drive, ignore the last comment and work on your sedentary habits. I rode a motorcycle, so I am someone who rides and walks.
