The hotel was clean and comfortable, with very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was a good continental breakfast (best croissants I have tasted in a long time), and they provided bags etc. for grab-and-go. Basic amenities were provided for self catering - I would recommend that the hotel replace the coffee table in the room with a small dining or bistro table.

The Regent Aparthotel is well located about a fifteen-minute, easy walk from the train station, and on the edge of the centre of town. My double room was well appointed with cold water, biscuits, etc. and had a lovely view of Parker's Piece, and it was clean and quiet. The reception was consistently friendly, the continental breakfast good. For Cambridge, it's good value for money, and I'd stay here again on a future visit.

Our room was very comfortable (especially the bed/mattress) and furnished to a good standard. Nice modern en suite facilities. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful and the location was adjacent to many bars and restaurants and only a 6-7 minute walk from the town centre. Only downside was the expensive local car parking (£22.50 overnight - significantly more than we have experienced elsewhere) with no discount from the hotel

Fantastic in every way: comfortable bed, spacious, room, good free breakfast, quiet, cozy hotel with elevator, super-friendly and accommodating staff, a variety of good restaurants and sites nearby. Botanical gardens and university sites are within an easy 10- to 20-minute walk, depending on location. Early luggage drop-off and later afternoon pickup were no problem. Weather in December was 42-50 with a sprinkle of rain. Would definitely recommend!

We arrived early (around 3 hours before check-in). We were only planning to drop our bag, head out, then come back after check-in, but the guy on reception happily checked to see if a room was available, then checked us in early, with an upgraded park-view room! The room itself was lovely - spacious, comfortable, clean, with all working appliances, and lovely views of the park. We were able to come and go as we needed, without ever feeling like we were imposing. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty - a "help yourself" continental selection, which we were able to take up to our room and eat privately. The room featured a large smart TV - only gripe was that it had limited apps (as it was a Philips Android TV - so had no Channel 4 or BBC iPlayer). You can cast to it, but doing so requires you join a private WiFi network with the TV, meaning you're then streaming over mobile data - which wasn't a great experience. Speaking of WiFi - great coverage throughout the hotel and is freely included - none of this "pay extra" business. Being only a short walk from both the train station (around 20 mins) and the town centre (around 10 mins) it's ideally positioned to act as your central hub when visiting Cambridge. Would definitely stay again.
