The back deck of the house looking over the lake was very peaceful and beautiful. The house was open and spacious with plenty of room in the kitchen to cook and a table for the family to eat at and play games. The steps from the parking area down to the house were challenging. There are a lot of steps and they are a little uneven. The steps inside to the walkout basement are even more challenging. The game room was disappointing. It was stuffy, musty, and damp. We did not utilize that area. I understand that it is underground. It might be helpful to have a dehumidifier. The downtown Cambridge area is wonderful. Cute little shops and restaurants. We love that we were close to a winery, a distillery and a cider tasting room. Don’t miss the Dane county farmers market on Saturday. There are more than 100 vendors that circle the capital building.
