I absolutely adored my stay. It’s got ideal views, perfect for relaxing. The food for breakfast is great, even had gluten free options. Same went for dinner, I ate some of the best meals of my trip here. Up the stairs outside is the start of one of the best beach trails I’ve ever walked. I can’t recommend highly enough!

Amazing view!! Sounds of the water crashing on the shore;was soothing. Lots of shops and bars nearby, shuttle service to the airport was helpful. Overall: must visit!!!

Good hotel, great location. Good staff

Great hotel, very nice staff. Good breakfast. Pool and sauna is situated on roof with lovely view of bay. The sauna door needs fixed however. Parking is tricky in the local area. Would stay again.

The room and the rest of the hotel was very clean and it was cleaned every day. They thought about sustainability. The swimming pool was nice and the restaurant was very good. The quality of the food was great, better than other restaurants in the neighbourhood. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. We had a great time here!

Highly recommend

Awesome hotel! Clean and spacious rooms with very helpful staff. The location was great and cabs into Funchal were inexpensive. Even better the hotel helped us purchase Hop on Hop off bus tickets and we would get on nearby and be taken into Funchal. Would recommend especially if you are a Winston Churchill fan.

So grateful for my stay here. I was flying in before check-in time and they accommodated me and gave me my room early. It was so clean and pretty. I recommend getting a room with a view! It’s so worth it. The breakfast was delicious! And so was their dinner menu. The staff so so sweet! They gave us a welcome beverage which was so delicious. Honestly just obsessed with this property. Definitely coming back.

Great overall location to tour Madeira, especially being outside Funchal easier for car navigation. Nice property, great views of bay, 1st floor does have many tourist pass by in daytime. Great breakfast with views wonderful. Nice staff. Laundry service a plus. Parking situation/must use public lots is only negative as well as some homeless in the area...and hustle all when parking. Just give then a euro for their assistance finding you a spot. Would still stay here again!:

Familienurlaub mit 4 Erwachsenen, 10 Tage im Hotel - Fazit: KLASSE! Toller (!) Empfang beim Einchecken, hervorragende Lage mit sehr schönem Blick und schönen, sauberen Zimmern, sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück, Abendessen im angeschlossenen Restaurant ebenfalls eine absolute Empfehlung, tolle -zentrale- Lage für Inselausflüge (wir hatten einen Mietwagen), geschultes und sehr aufmerksames Personal… wir waren rundherum sehr (!) zufrieden und kommen bei nächster Gelegenheit wieder!!!

Not impressed. Upmarket Premier Inn

We had no privacy to sit on our balcony as it was right beside the pavement at ground level, with the public and tour groups being guided around. There was no atmosphere at the hotel and the lounge area was always empty due to the bedrooms being in a separate building and visitors were not mingling. The kitchen Staff and waiters were great and always willing to help.
