What an amazing place. Ashley greeted us with a big smile and showed us to our room. The room was beautiful and clean. Our breakfast was so tasty and presentation was spot on. Nothing was too much.

Just what we needed for our 2 day stay whilst attending a friend's daughter's wedding. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Great breakfast and dog friendly. Two real ales to choose from.

Great country pub/restaurant.

Very nice stay, excellent evening meal. Sloping ceiling in the bedroom gave me a few head bumps, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

A wonderful stay

A very welcoming establishment with fantastic food. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were superb. We felt very comfortable and relaxed there thanks to the very hospitable staff. The value for money was excellent and we would definitely return.

Room (3) looking very tired now with holes in carpet and loose fittings in en suite. Same dead plants and weeds on patio area that were there a couple of months ago at previous stay. Pub itself looks like it could do with a good clean (windows / floors etc). Dinner not available due to unforeseen circumstances. Easy to park and friendly staff. Decent breakfast.

What a lovely place! The food at the inn was delectable and the information they provide to guests regarding the area and what to explore is wonderful. Wish I had had more time here, but it was a quick overnight stay. Would stay here again!

Amazingly friendly, quiet beautiful inn. Special find, near to Avebury and Silbury. But off the tourist trap. Highly recommended. Will go back one day soon.

Friendly staff and good food

All the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good and freshly made, decent beer and a relaxed vibe. Nice rural village, and a decent room. I didn't realise when I booked that it was a bath with no shower, and being over six foot, I could not stand up in the bath and use the spray attachment because of the low-sloping roof - but I still enjoyed the stay

The White Horse is quite a find, set in a beautiful quiet village. Our room was very comfortable with high quality oak furniture. The owners and staff were very welcoming. We had the most wonderful dinner and it is clear the chef has great knowledge of ingredients and flavours. It was extremely difficult to choose from the menu of amazing sounding dishes and our meal was an absolute delight. There was good selection of wine and local real ale. Breakfast was equally tasty and we left the White Horse promising ourselves a return visit in the near future. Highly recommend a stay here or just go for a meal, you will not be disappointed.
