I had a very pleasant stay at the Hyatt Calgary. The location is excellent and convenient for exploring downtown. The hotel amenities were well maintained, and the staff were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. It was quite busy on Friday night, which led to some delays, but the rest of the experience was excellent. Overall, a comfortable stay and I would gladly return.

Negatives We unfortunately received a room facing the back of the building. Also due to the position of the rooms you will get a lot of sunlight through as the blinds unfortunately were not black our drapes. The breakfast in the club level was subpar. DEVILLE coffee shop across the street was awesome and reasonably priced. Positive. Pool and Gym is nice with a great view. Proximity to Stephens street was great with lots of restaurants. Easy access to train especially if headed to stampede.

Always nice to stay at this Hyatt. Great room, very quiet, pool and gym are both good. It is unfortunate that the 8th Stephen Avenue Mall in Calgary has gone downhill. I didn't feel overly safe walking along the street on a Saturday night. There is nothing the hotel can do about that so a great option is to stay in and eat at Thomson's which is a great restaurant.

This hotel is in a great central location. Despite construction happening on the street, we found our room to be very quiet. The staff were polite and accommodated a couple of requests. The room was clean and comfortable. Lots of drawer space to unpack into and space to store our luggage. Sadly we didn’t get a chance to use the gym and other amenities offered. We would happily stay here again if we make it back to Calgary.
