This is a great place to stay! The staff are all very warm and welcoming. The area is quiet and safe. There are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby!

Would stay again

Good parking for our motorcycles, right outside the entrance door. Friendly staff. Modern, clean room. Good selection and tasty food and drink for breakfast. Bars and restaurants about 10 minutes walk away.

Great staff

Tiago (staff member) was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble, and he was extremely pleasant - a credit to the hotel. He even moved our room as we initially had a room on the side with a small balcony which had an extractor next to and the vapour from the pipe engulfed the balcony making it unusable. Thank you Tiago, you made our stay most enjoyable and we will return.

Great staff and generous breakfast but over-priced

Staff are well trained and attentive, breakfast is generous, fresh and delicous. The beach is a 15min walk and impressive but very crowded. There is nowhere to eat in the evening that is not on the main busy road. Overall we felt the hotel is overpriced for the area - we originally booked a double standard room but it was so small, windowless and oppressive we were forced to choose to upgrade (or loose our money). The upgrade was nice and in one of the 3 rooms with a balcony - this is very nice to have but not very private ( right next to the bar and have glass walls so everyone can look at you). Our biggest problem was the air conditioning wasnt working properly and leaked water into the room each night. The staff were very apologetic and put towels down but these were soaked by the morning. They did try to had get engineers out to fix them but could not get anyone during out stay. A small refund as a gesture of good will would have been appreciated.

Very good base for staying a few days in Foz exploring the nearby areas. Staff very accommodating and welcoming, Briniana was particularly helpful and kind during our stay. The only issue is that there is a lot of humidity being close to the coast and the beds and bed linen smell of damp unfortunately. Despite this we are very happy with our stay

The hosts Ester Rita and Bibiana (and also other employees) made us feel very welcome in the hotel. We were sad when our trip was over and we had to leave. Very enjoyable terrace/bar to sit at. Drinks were carefully curated. Comfortable bedding. Great breakfast. Sufficient parking. Room thoroughly cleaned. Convenient digital room card. Not far from the beach and other amenities. If we go to Foz Do Arelho, we will definitely stay at Agua d’Alma again.
