The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was clean and newly renovated, housekeeping cleaned promptly when requested and they were more than happy to provide extra towels upon request. The breakfast was always yummy and freshly prepared. Given the location of the hotel, the sound wasn’t too bad. Cairo is a loud city so if you need silence to sleep, being ear plugs. Or maybe Cairo isn’t the city for you. I’m glad we stayed downtown as we really got to experience Cairo and not just the tourist curated sections like the Mena house, pyramids, or GEM (although those places are still worth the visit). If I have the opportunity to come back to Egypt I would definitely stay again.

It was an absolutely amazing experience staying in Sama hotel and in Egypt. Sama hotel’s staff Anas, Ali, Sama, Youssef and Ezzat were very cooperative and friendly. I booked my tours with them also and absolutely great service. Breakfast was very nice with different varieties every day.
