The room is comfortable and had everything I needed. It’s also in a great location with just a 10 minute walk to the day and night markets, and the reef fleet terminal for meeting tour companies. My main issue was at check in. A code for the lock box was not texted as promised. And when I arrived after 8 pm after the reception staff had gone off duty, I was unable to get my phone to connect to the phone number on the door. I waited until another guest took pity on me and called for me. Lock boxes are mainly the stuff of Air BnBs, and this place was advertised as a hotel.

Nice place to stay close to the city centre. Sadly guests in room close to ours decided to party until 5 in the morning. The rooms are very spacious but the outside areas adjoining the balconies have got “let’s party” written all over it.

The room was clean, we loved having the double sliding doors to the balcony because it was having extra outside air in the evenings. Morning was nice on the balcony as well. The bed was a bit hard for me, but fine for my wife. The hot water must be tied into the neighboring room because I got cold spikes in the shower one of the mornings while I was the only one in our bathroom. The tv was only bright enough to see at night with the room dark, with no s available adjustments, but that worked out ok with our schedule. The staff was friendly and we were able to drop our bags before check-in which was wonderful. Thank you for a nice stay.

The apartments were ideal location for attending a conference at the conference centre, and also for walking all over town. I arrived in Cairns well before checkin time and they held my suitcase, and text when the room was ready. I would stay here again but I would make sure to spend a bit more and get an upper floor.
