“Not sure where the rating comes from but not my idea of a 4 star hotel ! Whilst the size of the room was very generous , no bottled water or enough toiletries for 2 people . The Spa was not particularly clean , a cold Jacuzzi with many missing tiles . Treatment seemed to be cut short of the 25 mins paid for . Afternoon tea was a huge disappointment , again the area looked liked it needed a good clean ! Disappointing that this was due to be a weekend with family at didnt quite turn out as...

“Aunque tuve al llegar molestias dado a que llamé para avisar que llegaba tarde de mi check in, cuando llegue mi habitación estaba sin hacer así que me acomodaron en otra y desde ahí súper bien. En acomodación he bajado mi puntuación dado a que el clima estuvo fuerte(calor) y no había aire acondicionado y la habitación estaba ardiendo de calor. “Hotel was in a beautiful setting and felt safe and secure inside the complex. The bed was so comfortable i didn't want to get up.Will definitely stay here again.”

“A good location to explore the area. Bus stop on doorstep for Reading, Henley on Thames. Breakfast good and reasonably priced as were main meals. Friendly and helpful staff.”

“Very eclectic hotel. Interiors not to my liking, certainly not a cosy stay. Negative was shower. Water constantly went hot & cold. Rooms so dark virtually impossible to see anything.”

“The hotel is not in Oxford, is actually 30 minutes drive from the actual city and just a few rooms have air conditioning. If you plan to come during summer, the rooms are quite hot.”

“A nice stay, with a very good breakfast. A few maintenance issues in the bedroom which needed addressing with a paint brush, and some cleaning issues, which were loose cotton threads from the sheets scattered everywhere. Simple stuff to do to get 5 stars, and to ensure standards are as they should be.”
