Nice hotel right on the beach. Beach chairs for rent of around 9EURO per chair/day. The hotel was comfortable but a bit outdated - rooms could use some remodeling and attention to detail. Our shower was very hard to work and after 3 days still were not able to adjust the temperature.

Sea view room on 5th floor was great. Very spacious and well stocked fridge. Bar service great. Kettle for tea and ice provided on request was a nice touch. Only 1 uk tv channel though, which should be improved. You can attach your UK fire tv stick though for movies etc. Recommended.

Generally speaking staff was good except for one lady that help me with the check in. I guess she was on bad mood. Other than that, other folks were very friendly and nice with me and family. We had a lovely stay in this hotel and found the staff particularly Esther on reception to be very friendly & helpful to our group The hotel is in a fantastic location right on playa Victoria and only approx 6 eur in a taxi back into the cathedral area of the old town. The red hop on / off bus also stops right outside the hotel who can also sell you the tickets for the red bus. We had paid the extra supplement for a sea view room which was beautiful to wake up to . We had breakfast on only one morning but thought it was quite expensive at 20euro per person compared to the other hotels we stayed in on our trip. The only negative we found was that the hotel rooms particularly wooden floors & wooden furniture badly need to be refurbished as they were very worn in parts. The grout in the bathroom tiles etc could also do with being renewed. Because it’s a 30 year old hotel it definitely needs updating in parts however this would not deter us from staying there again. The location is ideal for both spending time at the pool/beach and exploring the old town of Cádiz also.
