We loved the location. The cute cabin decor and spotless accommodations felt like home away from home. There was a lot of notes and reminders in the cabin. Nothing left to question. Great shower water pressure. Perfect temperature control options. Loved the close parking to each cabin and offer to use the firepit and trail to the lake. Great spot for a weekend or an extended stay. Cabin 1 has a very tiny fridge but otherwise no issue. Thanks Pat!

The host texted us a couple of times before we checked in, and turned on the air conditioner, so it was nice and cool when we got there. Everything was spic and span clean, and nothing was left unthought of. She even had expiration dates on the bottom of the coffee creamers! It was cute and quaint and comfy. I would recommend these little cabins/motels to anyone. I didn’t see the rest of the resort, but I can say the cabin area was wonderful. We had our own community bonfire/grill in the front of all the cabins with barbecue utensils already there. This was a great little place. We had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend there.

Stayed in one of the smaller cabins, sporting northwoods decor with wolves. Absolutely beautiful cabin, nice home-like feel. Very comfortable. Hostess was sweet, very nice and welcoming.

I stayed here for a hunting trip with family. The cabin is clean and cozy with comfortable beds and hot shower. It has a mini fridge and coffee maker. I definitely recommend this place and I will be staying here every year. The owner is very friendly too.

Beautiful cabins

We loved our stay at Birchwood in one of their cabins. It was decorated beautiful in Wolf scenery. The owner was very nice. She even made us popcorn and delivered it to our cabin Saturday night. They also have an outside grill you can cook on and a very nice placed to have a bonfire. Lawn chairs were also provided.

When I pulled up and saw the signs ( not that I’m political) on the property I started to cancel, but when I went in the lady (Pat) was very pleasant and friendly. I end up staying and I must say that my stay was wonderful and very relaxing. I loved that the cabin was very clean and equipped with everything I needed. I’m planning on going back real soon.

Directly from the time I reserved the property owner Pat contacted me via text and immediately made us feel welcomed. Upon arrival we met with Pat who was a pleasure. The property was unbelievably clean and also came with a gift. We will definitely be coming back. Well recommended. Thanks Pat Look forward to our next visit.

Cleanliness is Godliness

Older resort & campground with 8 cabins and around 30 full hookup lots. Lake accessed by a short pathway. Exceptionally neat, tidy and sanitized. Never have I stayed in a cleaner cabin! Central firepit for socializing. Proprietor Pat is attentive and communicates clearly. Super nice and all accompanying. Looking forward to visiting again.

Comfortable & Clean

4th of July weekend stay to enjoy time with family who live in the area. We arrived before the check in time,we called Pat to see if we could check in early or at least park our car so we could go out on our relatives boat. She was very accommodating to our request and let us check in early. Our room was very clean and the queen size bed very comfortable. The best part was not having to find something to do so room service could clean. Room service is at your request. If you needed anything at all, all you had to do was call or text her. We will return again and if your looking for a nice cabin to stay in I highly recommend Birchwood.
