The perfect hotel. Lovely, modern, exceptionally clean room with stunning view across the bay - right in the heart of everything but very quiet with the balcony doors closed. Beautiful pool area, with beds and hammocks shaded by olive trees. Tennis, table tennis and basketball. Lovely restaurant with varied lunchtime menu, poolside, plus a well-stocked bar. Quality breakfast. Welcoming, helpful, friendly staff. We loved everything about it and will definitely return.

A disappointing stay overall. The hotel itself is beautiful — the location is perfect, the pool is lovely, and the rooms are wonderful. What let it down was the lack of accommodation to reasonable requests. I'm a poor sleeper, so before our holiday I emailed to confirm our double room could be set up as a twin, since Expedia listed the room as "double or twin." I was told the room was booked as a double and this hadn't been specified, and both my request for a twin setup and for an extra bed were flatly refused. On arrival, we were told lunch by the pool required a table booking. We arrived just as lunch was ending at 3pm and were turned away, despite other guests still eating and drinking well past 4pm — not a welcoming start after travelling. At breakfast the next day, I asked for gluten-free bread (no charge) and an oat milk flat white, and was told the oat milk drink would incur a charge as it required a different machine. After asking to speak to the manager and following up the next day, the answer was unchanged, until I suggested using that machine just to froth the milk while getting the coffee from the self-service machine myself — a lot of fuss for what should be a simple accommodation for a lactose intolerance. Finally, my 10-year-old made friends with two other children by the pool. They were playing happily and not disturbing anyone, yet were told to be quiet. If children playing quietly isn't acceptable, this really should be marketed as an adults-only hotel
