“Great apartment, had everything we needed, air conditioning works well, cooking was easy, the bed was very comfy and the cleaner was brilliant. The pool is great, an oasis after being out and about. The lady who runs the place was friendly and could be contacted night and day. The only downsides have nothing to do with the apartment, the beggars on the street are a pain, as is the rubbish and dog poo. If the government of Cape Verde had any sense, they would use the entry taxes to employ the...

“We were met at the airport and taken to our apartment. Really nice and airy, nicely decorated with good shower and comfortable bed and all the things you need to self cater. Brilliant double glazed window tilted so could be left open all day but when closed blocked out any noise. Right next to beach and with a nice garden with parasol to sit out in. Fruit/veg sellers came to just outside the apartment every morning and there is a brilliant bakery 10 minutes away and a stunning juice/snack...

When we got there the shower was clogged, not a great start after a long flight. The owner did send maintenance to fix it. Then the WiFi did not work most of the time. Overall, it was just uncomfortable and we ended up leaving after 2 days ”

“Tres bien securisé. Un appartement convenable avec piscine . Tres calme”

“Great location as 1 minute walk from the Main Street. Very clean, the room was spacious and comfortable. Nice bathroom and great shower, though there was a power cut when some water pressure dropped. It was a quiet street but close to amenities. The beach was a 5 min walk away and plenty of guys offering excursions along the way. Communication was a little delayed at times but the hotel arranged pick up and drop off at the airport which was necessary as flights seem to land and depart in the...
